by communicating who you are and what you do
After ten years of writing grants for a nonprofit near Augusta, Georgia, that serves special-needs children, I (Faith) brought on Ashley to increase the number of grants submitted. Our complementary backgrounds in prose and technical writing made us a strong team, and we actually enjoyed taking on all the grants. We realized our skill sets could potentially help other nonprofits. So in February of 2017, Gateway Grant Services was born.
Not long after we launched, we discovered that our clients needed help with development- for their program, their budgets, their board, etc. Coaching our clients through these foundational elements, crucial for competitive grants, gave us other tools to aid in building their sustainability.
Adjusting in the Face of Adversity
As we watched our clients face the financial impact of COVID-19, we responded to their needs by launching our Virtual Fundraising & Digital Marketing services in the fall of 2020. With a team skilled in virtual strategies, we help our clients increase awareness, raise funds, and engage donors.
Similarly, we watched small businesses struggle and suffer under the financial consequences caused by shutdowns. Bringing on an expert business consultant we branched into small business coaching in the summer of 2020. A slightly different direction than our previous services, business coaching still aligns beautifully with our mission to help you become more sustainable.
In the years since we started, our team has tripled in size to meet the growing needs of nonprofits and small businesses like you.
Let us be a part of your team as we help you secure the funding that will help you change your world.
